If good coffee is 50% Barista, 25% beans selection and 25% coffee making equipment, then it is important that your venue gets this right. This video will show team members how to use and care for your equipment, after all it is one of the larger capital investments in the front-of-house equipment. The coffee work station is a sophisticated environment and the components that determine how good you coffee is, will need as much care and attention as any kitchen or beer reticulation equipment. We recommend that after completing this section and the supporting knowledge test, that an in-house Manager or Coffee Company Representative takes the candidates through the cleaning and maintenance process to ensure that the practical application of skills is on target.
